THE HISTORY OF DAVY CROCKETT

Davy Crockett was born in the backwoods of Tennessee. As a young boy he was very adventurous. By the age of 16 he left home to and traveled the countryside. He was a quite successful hunter and trapper. He came home and soon later got married to Polly Finely. They lived happily until Polly became very ill and died. David tried to keep his head up. he got remarried and soon after that he joined the House of Representatives. In the House he fought to help the needy and also fellow backwoods men like him. After that he fought for Texas at the alamo. Regrettably that is where he died.

David was a hero in many ways but mainly he fought for americans and america. He fought for the rights of his fellow americans and backwoods men. After that he fought for Texas at the Alamo.
