A guardian is someone to help those who aren't in the position to help themselves. Someone who is a voice for those who cannot speak up on their own. Miep Gies, a start to our collection of heriones, changed the life of Anne Frank by hiding her from the Nazis in World War II. Shada Nassar became a revolutionary when she began to speak for underage girls in Yemen who were being raped by husbands three times their age. Mother Theresa through philanthropy, showed the world that love for others is the best kind of love around. And finallly the female gender for their devotion to children and family, which is the most important thing this world has to offer.
